The 2017 Honda Accord, Still the Best
The improvements made to an already stunning Accord sedan in 2016 were so good that Honda simply has carried them into the 2017 model.
On the outside, a year ago, the Accord changed to a more performance inspired styling than in previous years. The perennial Car and Driver 10Best vehicles stays just at it is for 2017 - and for good reason.
The steady, reliable and popular Accord was made more appealing on the outside last year, giving customers all the more reason to continue making the Accord America's favorite car. For 2017, chrome pieces were added to the grille in front and back on the base model. The base model is also given a more upscale look with chrome door handles and the addition of black matted highlights on the side mirrors.
In 2016, Honda added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to its infotainment system in the Accord, becoming the first Honda model to do so. This year those two great technological features remain. No reason to change such a good thing. An 8-inch multi-information display is standard on the 2017 Accord as well. Outside, LED lights come standard in both the headlight and taillights.
New for 2017
What is new? There will be one more available trim for 2017. The Sport Special Edition model will come with all the great features of the standard Accord. But it will add leather seats with red stitching and "Special Edition" badge on the body, as well as a rear spoiler and bigger wheels and brakes, plus a few more horsepower.
